The Academy of Chinese Martial and Cultural Arts was founded and is managed by the Shaolin Hung Mei Kung Fu Association. SHMKF is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the teaching and advancement of Chinese martial arts and culture. The Academy is designed to have broad appeal, not only to the Chinese community, but to all communities in the Boulder/Denver region in Colorado. Regularly scheduled classes in Shaolin Hung Mei Kung Fu, Dragon and Lion performance training, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and traditional Chinese folk dance are offered at the Academy. Moreover, the Academy sponsors/hosts many special programs and events, including demonstrations, exhibitions, seminars, and workshops.
